THE BEEHIVE PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN 3 – 4 YEARS OF AGE:
At this age, children have a rapidly expanding ability to think, to imagine, to create and to “play in their heads” – abilities which dominate their learning. Physical dexterity is maturing as well as independence and creativity.
Children of this age learn best through a play-centered approach. The Beehive program extends the depth of children’s play and discoveries with carefully planned teacher challenges and guidance, e.g. creative play such as dramatic play, arts and crafts, play with water, clay, mud, dough and sand, building, counting play, games, physical play, music and books.
The Beehive Class is planned and led by qualified and experienced Vietnamese teachers trained in Early Childhood Education. Each group size is limited to 14 children with 2 teachers. Teacher to student ratio is 1 teacher to 7 students. [1:7]
